Here are some of the environmental advantages of the GreenWeaver items:
• Yarn is produced using 100% post consumer plastic bottles
• CO2 gas emissions are reduced by 54.6% in the process of manufacturing fabric from plastics verses virgin polyester
• Petroleum usage is reduced by over 52% by utilizing thermal recycled energy

Note: Plus size gowns are all the same width, 84” around and just get longer to accommodate a persons height. Since the regular size gowns are a full cut it may not be necessary to put a person in a plus size gown. Students who do not have the normal weight-height proportions may fit better in the next larger sized gown rather than a plus sized gown.
